Our aims

The purposes of the Club are to promote the amateur sports of bowls and pétanque in Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk and community participation in the same and in particular to:-

• Provide facilities for members to play bowls and pétanque both competitively and for pleasure;
• Foster a competitive sporting spirit and tolerance to all;
• Provide encouragement and tuition for those who wish to learn to play or improve the standard of their play;
• Organise social events for members and their guests;
• Provide a friendly environment for visitors to Wells who wish to use the facilities of the Club.

Wells Town bowls

Wells Town plays in three Bowls Leagues against other Norfolk clubs. These are

North Norfolk Bowls League
Fakenham Bowls League
Elmham & District Bowls League 

The club is affiliated to both the Norfolk County Bowls Association and the Norfolk County Women’s Bowls Association
